Chelsea Outgun Western Sydney Wanderers 6-4 in Accor Stadium Thriller

Chelsea edged a wild ten-goal contest, with Joao Pedro scoring three times in the closing stages to secure a 6-4 win.
Chelsea beat Western Sydney Wanderers 6-4 at Accor Stadium in a remarkable match that swung repeatedly. D. Satpaev gave Chelsea an early lead, but goals from A. Pantazopoulos and A. Hammond put the Wanderers ahead before D. Essugo levelled at 2-2.
D. Scicluna restored the hosts’ advantage in the 62nd minute, only for J. Gittens to equalise four minutes later. A. Lual made it 4-3 in the 78th, but Joao Pedro took over: he scored in the 80th, added another in the 85th and completed his hat-trick in the 89th.
The late flurry turned a chaotic, open contest into a Chelsea victory. Their six goals showed their attacking threat, while conceding four will leave defensive questions despite the result.
