"A couple of the paramedics knew who I was because I had played for Nottingham Forest a few years earlier," he recalls. Their intervention was pivotal, and Hutchinson emerged from the ordeal stronger.

Now at 37, Hutchinson has signed a two-year contract with Farnham Town, marking a new chapter in his life. His arrival has brought attention to the club, which recently climbed through the ranks of English football. Despite a tough debut match, Hutchinson has played a crucial role in helping the team secure victories in their early games of the season. “I’m loving it,” he says, embracing the part-time football lifestyle after all he has endured.
